This stick also packs a variable CTS Beam, which deploys a thin 18mm shaft for outstanding ball feedback. On groundstrokes the 100X (18x20) feels comfortable and solid at impact. The thicker beam and more responsive upper hoop provide a little extra pop, which comes in handy when driving the ball through the court. Like the previous generation, the dense string pattern provides the kind of laser-like precision that inspires confidence. At net clean mechanics are rewarded with good depth, and the touch on drop volleys and sharp angles is outstanding.
