• AUXETIC: design innovation that involves the use of materials or structures with auxetic properties. Auxetic materials are characterized by their unique ability to expand or get wider when stretched, which is the opposite of how most materials behave.

• Enhanced Energy Absorption: Auxetic materials can absorb and disperse impact energy more effectively than conventional materials. When a tennis ball strikes the racket, the auxetic structure can deform in a way that absorbs and disperses the energy, reducing vibrations and minimizing the risk of injury to the player's arm.
